Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build end-to-end test systems for robotic hands and hand components, including fixtures, instrumentation, electrical interfaces, controls, software, and safety mechanisms.
  • •Translate engineering requirements into repeatable test methods that exercise sensors, motors, motor control electronics, structural components, and complete hand assemblies under representative loads and operating conditions.
  • •Develop automated test software and control logic to configure test profiles, communicate with devices under test, collect telemetry, automate test progression, and detect issues in real time.
  • •Own tests from equipment bring-up through completion, including device integration, setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, inspections, and safe operation of test equipment.
  • •Analyze telemetry and instrumentation data to identify anomalies and failure signatures, investigate unexpected failures, and turn results into clear engineering decisions and reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • •Experience developing and integrating test systems for complex electromechanical products.
  • •Strong experience with systems combining sensors, electric motors, motor control electronics, wiring, structural components, and embedded control systems.
  • •Ability to write test software, develop test profiles, interface test controls with embedded hardware, and read or modify device-under-test software as needed.
  • •Experience working with telemetry and real-time signals for automated testing, diagnostics, closed-loop control, or issue detection.
