Key Responsibilities

•Own robotic weld cells, including programming, fixturing interface, and weld quality at production rate.
•Develop weld programs for structural steel assemblies with procedures, parameters, and sequencing to hold distortion.
•Commission new cells with integrators and move them from acceptance to production rate.
•Improve first-pass yield using data to reduce rework at the parameter level.
•Collaborate with quality on inspections and implementing fixes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 203,000 - 232,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Program and run robotic welding in production (not only in a lab environment).
•Deep knowledge of GMAW, including parameters, transfer modes, and arc behavior.
•Solve distortion and penetration issues on heavy weldments.
•Work to WPS discipline and be able to write a WPS.
•Partner with quality on inspections and the fixes driven by findings.
