Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the operational risk assessment process, including process/control mapping, building risk assessments, documenting issues, analyzing results, and preparing assessment reports.
  • •Assist with implementing and enhancing the Bank’s Three Lines of Defense Program and efforts to strengthen internal controls.
  • •Monitor First Line testing of internal controls to identify operational risk exposures and support timely corrective actions.
  • •Support operational risk scenario analysis and review operational loss events.
  • •Standardize and maintain risk taxonomy and reporting, and assist with GRC platform implementation and administration; prepare reports for executive and board-level committees as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent of a four-year college degree in a field such as Accounting, Finance, or Risk Management, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
  • •Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals, and to present information to groups of managers and others.
  • •Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply fractions, ratios, and percentages to practical situations.
  • •Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out written/oral/diagrammed instructions and deal with routine problems involving known variables.
  • •Certificate/certification in risk management frameworks or operational risk management is preferred.
