Provide hands-on technical support and liaison for Airbus fleet maintenance, overseeing maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and fleet improvement initiatives. Serve as the main customer contact for maintenance events, risk management, and regulatory compliance, while delivering training and ensuring clear communication between the client and Airbus DS logistics and engineering teams.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Technical Assistance: Provide direct customer support on maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical issues; support ground equipment operation and investigations; relay technical data and coordinate with customer care; act as first contact for technical AOG; assist in aircraft configuration logistics.
•Training: Conduct hands-on training for the customer.
•Supervision of Aircraft Maintenance Activities: Schedule and plan maintenance events; coordinate with Airbus DS logistics; track maintenance events to meet oToCoQ targets; manage event reports, O&A reviews, proposals, and queries; perform risk management and review maintenance records.
•Maintenance Engineering and Fleet Management Support: Liaise with customer on continuing airworthiness and fleet management; monitor fleet availability and performance; drive continuous improvement of Operator Maintenance Programme; analyze engineering documentation and ensure configuration control and technical records.
•Local liaison and documentation control: Serve as the local point of contact for ongoing airworthiness activities and fleet management, ensuring fleet documentation and records are accurate and up to date.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Engineering degree and/or licensed engineer with specific qualification for A330-200/300 Trent 700; EASA Category C license enabled for A330
•Extensive experience in maintenance work and acting as a technical liaison for Airbus fleet
•Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus
•Knowledge of aeronautics regulations (e.g., EASA/EMAR Part M, Part 145, and national airworthiness regulations)
•Willingness to travel frequently
