Job Summary

Lead end-to-end technical tooling projects within Pratt & Whitney Canada’s supplier base, supporting supply chain value streams. Own project scope, budgets, schedules, milestones, and the overall qualification process, including business case development to secure funding. Direct multidisciplinary teams, remove cross-functional barriers affecting process and quality, and perform supplier assessments and part inspection analytics. Drive adoption of new manufacturing technologies such as 3D-printed sand cores and additive manufacturing for investment casting.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead supply chain technical projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, budget, deliverables, and schedules.
•Prepare and present the project business case to secure funding.
•Lead multidisciplinary project teams and provide regular project updates.
•Identify and remove cross-functional barriers impacting process and quality, escalating when needed to protect project progress.
•Conduct supplier assessments and analyze part inspection reports to evaluate manufacturing process capability; develop inspection-related action plans.
•Collaborate with suppliers to improve part quality and develop inspection plans; promote adoption of new technologies like 3D-printed sand cores and additive manufacturing for investment casting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or industrial engineering with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
•Expertise in casting processes (sand casting, lost-wax casting, structural parts, and airfoil-profile parts).
•Experience with 3D inspection software such as POLYWORKS and GOM.
•Experience using project management tools and PLM.
•Ability to read, write, and communicate in English on a daily basis for technical documentation and international stakeholders.
