Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the Electrical and I&C discipline CAD lead for projects of all sizes.
  • •Oversee the design and preparation of electrical and I&C deliverables, ensuring constructability, safety, and alignment with project constraints.
  • •Perform complex CAD tasks and coordinate production of drawings, collaborating to create integrated digital project content and resolve interface issues.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and project managers across feasibility through construction support, developing facility designs and deliverables.
  • •Manage project modeling data (laser scans, LiDAR, survey points), prepare bills of materials and quantity takeoffs, and contribute to proposals/business development.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant power or industrial experience, or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •5+ years of experience as a discipline CAD lead, including success leading remote teams and/or high value centers.
  • •Experience in electrical and instrumentation design, including electrical design layouts, fittings, materials, and field instruments, wiring, and control systems.
  • •Proficiency with CAD/data tools and workflows including electrical design deliverables and complex digital project content.
  • •Strong data-to-model capability using laser scans/LiDAR and experience working with coordinate systems and data transformation.
