Job Summary

Lead and coordinate heavy highway general contract projects (primarily MassDOT) from award through final closeout. Manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls while overseeing planning, contracting, subcontract coordination, and project meetings. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, inspectors, municipalities, and agencies, while ensuring safety, quality, OSHA compliance, and adherence to contract requirements through construction, change orders, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage multiple heavy highway construction projects simultaneously, ensuring safe completion on schedule and within budget.
•Review and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, permits, and project requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
•Coordinate resources, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to meet project objectives, including planning and scheduling subcontractors.
•Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, cost reports, billings, estimates, and revenue projections.
•Serve as primary point of contact for owners and stakeholders; resolve issues and maintain required documentation, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, and change orders.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5–10 years of construction management experience, preferably in heavy highway, roadway, bridge, utility, or civil construction.
•Proven experience managing DOT, municipal, and public infrastructure projects.
•Strong understanding of construction methods, means, and sequencing.
•Experience with public bidding and government-funded contracts.
•Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
