Job Summary

Lead the Reliability function for the engineering department by driving plant asset reliability and supporting operational availability targets. Own maintenance strategy alignment with asset condition and business performance, and ensure the process plant condition monitoring program is effective. Provide technical and leadership support to the reliability team, including RCA investigations for significant incidents, downtime data analysis, and QA/QC coordination across fixed plant sections, while mentoring and developing team talent.

Key Responsibilities

•Accountable for providing sound reliability practice to the engineering department and leading the reliability team to meet process plant asset reliability and operational availability targets.
•Ensure maintenance strategies align with asset condition and business performance, and that maintenance plans and the condition monitoring program are effective.
•Lead reliability support for significant incidents, including RCA investigations, and use downtime data to influence plant maintenance strategy.
•Coordinate QA/QC across process plant sections and manage data/reporting tools and technology implementation planning for reliability.
•Provide leadership, mentoring, training and performance management for subordinates, including succession planning and team direction aligned with organizational goals.

Key Requirements

•An engineering degree in a relevant field, or significant experience in planning and reliability management.
•Relevant experience with fixed plant processing equipment involved with large-scale copper operations.
•A background working with maintenance, reliability, and/or operations teams in mining applications.
•5+ years’ experience in fixed plant maintenance.
•At least 5 years in a senior supervisory role, with excellent written and verbal communication.
