Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary finance focal point for the Onshore Projects division and lead finance/accounting activities
  • •Lead month-end close including revenue and cost accruals, gross margin analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end financial packages
  • •Ensure appropriate project accounting and financial controls by reviewing commercial agreements, agreed rates, approvals, and variation orders
  • •Partner with Project Controls and project stakeholders to structure projects for contractual requirements (lump sum contracts, revenue recognition points, billing milestones)
  • •Support audits by engaging internal and external auditors and maintaining visibility into project costs, pass-through costs, unbilled amounts, and billing activities

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • •Professional qualification in Accounting (CA) required; CPA or CMA is an asset
  • •Minimum seven (7) years of experience in full-cycle accounting, ideally in an engineering consultancy or oil and gas project environment
  • •Experience working with ERP systems, including Oracle and EPM/FCC
  • •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) plus strong project accounting, revenue recognition, cost accounting, and financial reporting knowledge
