Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and carry out original research using appropriate methodologies and techniques, including developing research ideas and securing support.
  • •Plan, publish, and/or execute high-quality research and present findings in publications and conference proceedings.
  • •Project manage research activities and/or supervise other research staff.
  • •Supervise and examine PhD students (within and outside the University).
  • •Contribute to knowledge transfer, enterprise, and public engagement activities and support research administration across the Department/School.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 56,535

Key Requirements

  • •PhD relevant to the research area (or near completion) or equivalent PhD-level qualifications.
  • •Extensive research experience aligned to the theme, with scholarship within subject specialism.
  • •Demonstrated experience planning, undertaking, and project managing research to deliver high-quality results.
  • •Experience identifying and recruiting research participants and conducting literature searching and reviewing.
  • •Extensive experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative, multi and mixed method data, and applying/devising successful qualitative/mixed methods research.
