Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape the security strategy and security roadmap with the VP, deciding where to invest day-to-day and translating it for exec alignment.
  • •Deploy and continuously validate security controls across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, and application systems.
  • •Own penetration testing cadence and vulnerability management (scanning, prioritisation, SLAs, triage, and closure).
  • •Run incident response end-to-end and operate on-call with playbooks, tabletop exercises, and supporting tooling.
  • •Stand up threat intelligence and routine threat modelling, and drive security training, advisory, and automation/AI improvements across security operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Have led security in a real, regulated environment (e.g., payments, healthcare, financial services).
  • •Run incident response for real incidents and write post-mortems.
  • •Understand modern attack surfaces across cloud, SaaS, identity, supply chain, and application security.
  • •Build or significantly improve threat intelligence or threat modelling capabilities and be comfortable with AI tools and automation.
  • •Comfortably co-own security strategy with a VP, bringing technical depth and strong business framing.
