Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform vibration monitoring and fault identification for rotating and reciprocating machinery including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, blowers, and fans.
  • •Implement and improve rotating equipment condition monitoring programs (vibration, lubrication, and thermography) with on-site data collection, analysis, and corrective action recommendations.
  • •Implement and improve rotating and reciprocating equipment performance monitoring programs with on-site data collection, analysis, and recommendations.
  • •Conduct field measurements using different data acquisition hardware and software applications, and occasionally troubleshoot vibration issues across machinery, piping, and/or structures.
  • •Prepare written analysis reports and collaborate with clients to improve equipment reliability, availability, and performance while following HSSE policies and managing assigned tasks/projects.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree or technologist background for the field vibration engineer role.
  • •VCAT 2/ISO Category II certification or higher (asset).
  • •Thermography and lube oil analysis experience (asset).
  • •Work experience with industrial machinery.
  • •Must be authorized to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship and have a valid driver’s license for daily travel to client facilities.
