Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure site compliance with regulatory requirements and project HSSE procedural requirements (fire protection, emergency preparedness/response, security, and occupational health and safety).
  • •Assist with development and administration of local project HSSE teams to build a positive safety culture.
  • •Build personal accountability by reinforcing safe behaviors and challenging at-risk behaviors.
  • •Establish, maintain, and test security and emergency readiness across the project.
  • •Actively lead a project field-level HSSE coaching and mentoring program and communicate reporting expectations with contractors.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 10 years of HSSE progressively responsible experience with heavy construction industry (preferably in mining construction projects).
  • •Experience on large Greenfield construction projects.
  • •Recognized certificates or training in Occupational Health, investigation, risk management, behavioral, and legislation.
  • •Excellent people skills, including field-level coaching and engagement programs.
  • •Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
