Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that change how associates work and how customers interact.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, agents/multi-agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Leverage open source and SaaS AI technologies (including AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, and VectorDBs) to build production AI capabilities.
  • •Invent and introduce foundation model optimization techniques to improve scalability, cost, latency, and throughput.
  • •Establish governance and technical review processes, including cost-performance reviews and design councils; mentor Principal/Manager-level AI engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,800 - 286,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field plus 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies; or a Master’s degree plus 4+ years in the same area.
  • •6+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Passion for staying abreast of AI research and applying novel techniques in production responsibly.
  • •Experience leading development of AI systems with tradeoff decisions across cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
  • •Experience deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent private cloud.
