Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end purchasing process from requisition through delivery for hardware, components, and materials.
  • •Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and manage suppliers to optimize cost, quality, lead times, and availability.
  • •Lead RFP and RFQ processes for strategic sourcing, major components, and contract manufacturing.
  • •Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks (lead-time constraints, obsolescence, DMSMS, and vendor risk) using alternative sourcing and mitigation strategies.
  • •Maintain supplier quality and compliance through Approved Supplier List management, documentation (e.g., CoCs, inspection records), and alignment with AS9100/Supplier Quality Requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or a related function.
  • •Experience purchasing technical components, electronics, hardware, or manufactured goods.
  • •Strong supplier management and negotiation across pricing, lead times, commercial terms, and performance.
  • •Experience working with BOMs, purchase orders, inventory, and ERP/MRP or procurement systems.
  • •Ability to partner cross-functionally and understand technical requirements for materials sourcing.
