Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle safely and according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while obeying traffic laws and observing safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Load and unload goods and materials using specialized equipment; maintain shipping paperwork including invoices and bills of lading.
  • •Perform routine service on trucks (e.g., checking oil, water, gasoline, and air) and report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL).
  • •Must pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state transportation regulations; offers are contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen.
  • •Must pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and remain focused in a busy environment.
