Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee production scheduling and manage materials purchasing, receiving, warehousing, and handling within the manufacturing process.
  • •Provide SAP Master Data support to enable operational and reporting improvements.
  • •Manage raw materials, ingredients, and production supply purchases to maintain 100% supply availability for scheduled production requirements.
  • •Ensure compliance with SOX key controls, Food Defense Plan, SQF Program, and environmental regulations; maintain housekeeping and manage safety.
  • •Supervise teams across multiple departments/work units, manage offsite warehousing and product movement, and lead Lean projects to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree; B.A. in Logistics or Business Administration preferred (Master’s degree a plus).
  • •5+ years of related experience in Distribution or Materials Handling.
  • •5 years’ experience working with meat manufacturing and supervising managers preferred.
  • •Advanced Excel experience; standard computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and distribution software; SAP is a plus.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills; sound judgment, leadership, organizational skills, and flexibility to work off hours occasionally.
