Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary mechanical technical focal point for customers, consultants, end-users, and third-party inspection agencies during project execution.
  • •Lead technical discussions, clarification meetings, design reviews, and engineering interface discussions.
  • •Prepare, review, and approve mechanical engineering deliverables and perform mechanical calculations and analyses (e.g., pressure drop, stress, lifting, hydraulic, equipment sizing).
  • •Ensure deliverables meet specifications, customer requirements, document control, quality standards, and project schedules; coordinate interfaces across E&I, software, process, PM, supply chain, fabrication, and quality teams.
  • •Support compliance, procurement/vendor technical work, and execution phases including fabrication, testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, punch-list closure, as-builts, and warranty support.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
  • •6+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering design and project execution in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, chemical, process automation, or related industries.
  • •Experience designing custody transfer, allocation metering, analyzer, and/or packaged skid systems, including piping systems, mechanical equipment, and buy-outs.
  • •Strong mechanical and piping design knowledge, including piping stress/structural analysis and hydraulic calculations, and practical fabrication/execution understanding.
  • •Working knowledge of international Oil & Gas mechanical/piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ASTM, API, ISO, NACE, BPVC).
