Architect and drive technical go-to-market engagements for enterprise customers, serving as a trusted advisor across discovery, design, adoption, and expansion. Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Technical Validation: Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and PoCs across Cloudflare’s Security, Networking, and Developer Platforms.
•Trusted Advisory: Maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders through onboarding, maturity, renewal, and expansion.
•Strategic Alignment: Ensure ongoing alignment between customer business goals and Cloudflare’s product roadmap throughout the lifecycle.
•Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Manage a variable quota tied to new business and account growth; drive platform adoption and identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities via product usage data; lead QBRs with C-level executives.
•AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Act as an AI-Augmented engineer; automate routine tasks using AI agents to reclaim time for strategic advisory.

Key Requirements

•Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering); seniority level varies by role.
•Experience working with hyperscale ecosystems or cybersecurity vendors.
•Broad technical acumen across web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
•Commercial mindset with experience in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned roles and understanding SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging technical implementation details with C-suite business strategy.
