Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day store operations to meet KPI and profit-and-loss expectations, either through sales or operations responsibilities.
  • •Assist with implementing corporate programs, policies, routine and seasonal initiatives, and store-specific needs.
  • •Support hiring, recruiting, succession planning, and training to reduce store turnover; develop staff through performance feedback and coaching.
  • •Take accountability for execution and training across business, operations, sales/customer service, and visual merchandising to ensure Retail Standards.
  • •Support cash management, shrink control, store/product security, inventory and styling decisions, wage/expense control, and compliance with company policies and government legislation.

Key Requirements

  • •College or university degree plus 1 year of retail experience (preferably sporting apparel and footwear), or an equivalent education/experience combination.
  • •Prior management experience and keyed experience are preferred.
  • •Ability to coach talent and support performance feedback to develop staff and build a team environment.
  • •Strong retail business management skills, including fiscal/operational understanding, cash procedures, and inventory/styling decisions.
  • •Excellent communication, computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ability to learn new systems such as POS systems and web portals.
