  • •Collaborate with team members to enable effective documentation contributions.
  • •Influence product and service development through expert opinions on function and design.
  • •Engage with user communities to ensure documentation meets their needs and encourage community contributions.
  • •Standardize content structure, presentation, style, and language across products, collaborating with documentation peers to advance best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Create, maintain, and improve software and other documentation with strong attention to functional written communication.
  • •Work effectively with teams to contribute to documentation that supports products and user needs.
  • •Have demonstrable documentation skills and insight, with a technical writer mindset plus a programmer’s or software development mindset.
  • •Be familiar with Linux and working on the command line, Git, and documentation markup languages (reStructuredText, MyST).
  • •Hold a BSc/BA degree (or equivalent) and be able to travel twice a year for up to two weeks for events.
