Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply Massachusetts and federal environmental regulatory programs to support permit planning and approvals.
  • •Prepare environmental permitting applications within MA wetland protection, USACE, and water quality programs.
  • •Use working knowledge of MADEP Ch. 91 and MEPA to support project permitting needs.
  • •Conduct wetland/wildlife field ecology as part of the permitting and assessment work.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology or related field plus 6 years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Environmental permitting experience required, including wetlands experience in Massachusetts.
  • •Strong ability to prepare permit applications under Massachusetts Environmental Regulatory Programs, including 310 CMR 10:00, USACE S. 404/10, and 401 WQC.
  • •Working familiarity with MADEP Ch. 91 and MEPA.
  • •Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records review; US Citizenship required as a condition of employment.
