Job Summary

Lead weekend day finishing operations for Pratt & Whitney’s Columbus Forge team, coordinating daily workflow to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals. Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot process issues, track work in process, and run tier meetings. Coach and mentor team members and partner on scheduling and training, while coordinating equipment maintenance through ANDON Systems or MTS and supporting continuous improvement in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead daily finishing operations by coordinating workflow, supporting production priorities, and ensuring safety, quality, and delivery goals are met.
•Coach, mentor, and develop team members while partnering with supervisors on scheduling, training, and career development.
•Perform hands-on manufacturing work as needed, including reading blueprints, following work instructions, and using precision measuring tools.
•Track work in process, lead tier meetings, order tools and supplies, and support other daily administrative activities.
•Coordinate equipment maintenance needs through ANDON Systems or MTS and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED
•6+ years of manufacturing experience, technical or military training, or military training experience
•Previous leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience in a manufacturing environment
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, perform shop math, and use precision measuring tools
•Basic computer skills and experience with manufacturing systems
