Key Responsibilities

•Originate residential first mortgage loans for outside referrals from application through closing.
•Develop and maintain referral contacts including realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts.
•Complete applications using Fannie Mae Form 1003 and use tools for communication, daily rates, applicant credit reports, and Loan Prospector responses.
•Collect required applicant documentation, deliver loan packages within management time frames, and manage the loan pipeline through closing.
•Communicate timely updates with branches and/or applicants and attend required Consumer Lending meetings.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent is required; four-year college degree preferred.
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines and federal lending regulations for real estate lending.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Ability to demonstrate strong organization, written/verbal communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
