Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a variety of tasks supporting project staff.
  • •Collect and enter data and apply technical principles and theories under supervision.
  • •Gather and maintain specified records of scientific data, including environmental sampling and site inspections.
  • •Assist with calculations and set up and operate equipment for compliance and documentation.
  • •Conduct fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director, and/or Principal Investigator.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate plus 4 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency) with archaeological fieldwork in the Pacific Northwest region.
  • •US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record, as project travel will be required.
  • •Ability to travel overnight for field work sessions as needed.
  • •Experience with field methodologies (archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring) and geospatial tools like GPS/GIS (preferred).
