Job Summary

Own a product vertical end to end for BJAK’s Neobank Superapp, driving strategy, roadmap, outcomes, and delivery across areas like payments, expense management, remittance, insurance, or wealth and trading. Partner with Engineering to shape technical design around money-movement correctness, reliability, security, and external rail constraints. Treat regulated requirements as first-class product inputs and apply AI responsibly to improve real outcomes while keeping humans in control.

Key Responsibilities

•Own a vertical end-to-end: outcomes and metrics, prioritized backlog, and crisp acceptance criteria for building and testing.
•Shape technical design with engineering, including system boundaries, idempotency/ledgering/reconciliation, failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
•Make and defend hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX with engineering, compliance, or operations stakeholders.
•Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs, including licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, and data residency/privacy.
•Apply AI where it earns its place by defining permitted decisions, human-in-the-loop behavior, evaluation approach, and safe handling when unsure.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgement under ambiguity.
•Strong technical foundation for system design (APIs, datastores, queues/workflows, failure modes, concurrency) and comfort challenging design docs.
•Experience in a regulated/high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance (or ability to ramp quickly).
•Hands-on AI judgement for LLM-based products, including evaluation framing and understanding of hallucination/drift/data gaps.
•Ability to balance ambition against technical, regulatory, and operational realities, with decisiveness and ability to hold your own with senior engineers.
