Key Responsibilities

  • •Feed and water birds according to the schedule.
  • •Walk floors daily to examine birds for signs of illness or injury, treat per instructions, and handle mortality disposal.
  • •Place pen partitions based on calculations and segregate birds according to line and age of source.
  • •Clean and disinfect waterers and pens, perform housekeeping, and repair pen and equipment (feeders, waterers, lights, fans, etc.).
  • •Record required information (line, MG, bird weights, feed and water intake, mortality) and perform additional duties such as quality checks and sanitation as needed.
