Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead execution of product testing, data acquisition, and reporting of component performance for Low Voltage Vehicle Controls.
  • •Develop and support launches and sustaining activities for switches, keypads, rotary encoders, and other commercial vehicle electrical products.
  • •Create and execute design verification test plans (DVP&R & PVP&Rs), including environmental and (as needed) EMC/EMI, vibration, and shipping tests.
  • •Define and document test instructions and troubleshoot issues by identifying root causes and assembling action plans using tools like 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Why.
  • •Organize, analyze, and summarize testing data into test reports; direct lab technicians and ensure test setups are reviewed and calibrated before testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an automotive, electrical, mechanical, testing, machining, or engineering environment.
  • •Proficiency with software tools including LabVIEW, Python, and C compilers/programming environments.
  • •Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • •Basic knowledge of automotive serial data protocols such as CAN, J1939, and LIN.
