Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain full-stack features across Tackle’s post-transaction product, exposing data through React and TypeScript/Node.js and Go backends.
  • •Design and implement AWS backend services, including serverless and event-driven systems such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, and Step Functions.
  • •Own and evolve marketplace data integrations with AWS, Microsoft, and Google, publishing change events consumed by downstream systems.
  • •Take end-to-end ownership of features from design through deployment and operation, including customer APIs, CRM integrations, and change notifications.
  • •Collaborate daily with a product manager and other engineers and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.

Salary: CAD 100,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years building full-stack web applications across frontend and backend layers.
  • •Professional experience with React and TypeScript (or strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency).
  • •Hands-on AWS deployment experience, especially serverless services like Lambda, API Gateway, and/or DynamoDB.
  • •Familiarity with event-driven patterns such as EventBridge, SQS, Step Functions, or DynamoDB streams.
  • •Comfort working with external APIs and transforming data between systems to keep search indexes and CRM records in sync.
