Job Summary

Drive and assist the management and execution of non-financial risk governance across Custody within Securities Services. Maintain the Risk and Control Assessment (RCA), support incident management and thematic analysis, and prepare risk and governance packs for decision-making forums. Collaborate with 2nd and 3rd Line of Defence risk functions and liaise with Internal/External Audit as needed, ensuring risks align to risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive and assist in the management, coordination, and execution of risk management activities across Custody within Securities Services, ensuring the risk governance framework is executed as defined.
•Dynamically review and maintain the Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) based on risk triggers and business changes, and support relationships with 2nd and 3rd Line of Defence risk functions and audit liaison.
•Support end-to-end incident management (including updates in GEMS/Helios, action tracking, and stakeholder follow-ups) and perform thematic analysis of incidents across Custody.
•Support preparation and maintenance of risk and governance packs by coordinating stakeholder inputs, validating data accuracy, and producing materials for governance forums and decision-making.
•Regularly review Non Financial Risk teams’ priorities, activities, structure, and resources, aligning to business needs and risk appetite.

Key Requirements

•In-depth knowledge of Securities Services activities, products, and processes, with specific knowledge of Custody business, plus strong risk/control background and risk management framework understanding.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely.
•Proven organizational, planning, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple outputs simultaneously.
•Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders across countries/cultures and manage expectations, comfortable engaging senior management.
•Minimum bachelor’s degree in related fields such as business or finance; previous experience in operational risk or internal risk and control function.
