Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the consolidated financial close across US and Canadian entities, improving the monthly cadence
  • •Lead, hire, and develop the accounting team, building managers and clear ownership
  • •Produce US GAAP financial statements and reporting for the board and investors in partnership with the CFO
  • •Own technical accounting areas including revenue recognition, lease accounting, equity, and complex transactions
  • •Build internal controls and manage audit readiness, external auditors, tax strategy, and finance systems roadmap (including NetSuite)

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership, including meaningful Controller or VP experience at a high-growth, venture-backed company
  • •Active CPA
  • •Big 4 or comparable public accounting foundation followed by operating experience
  • •Experience running multi-entity, cross-border accounting, ideally across the US and Canada
  • •NetSuite fluency strongly preferred, plus experience preparing for and managing external audits
