Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering complex power generation and energy infrastructure projects.
  • •Support preparation of conceptual and functional designs, specifications, bills of quantity, and tender documents for power generation projects.
  • •Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and delivery programmes to complete work safely, on time, and within budget.
  • •Ensure engineering deliverables comply with IEC, IEEE, SANS and applicable client-specific standards.
  • •Coordinate with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and internal engineering disciplines; lead meetings, provide progress updates, and prepare project reports, cost estimates, and budgets.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of experience in transmission and distribution, including substantial experience managing and delivering substation projects.
  • •PMP certification or professional registration with an internationally recognised project management institution.
  • •Relevant technical qualification from an internationally recognised institution.
  • •Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex power generation and energy infrastructure projects.
  • •Knowledge of IEC, IEEE and SANS standards (and client-specific requirements where applicable).
