Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent Zyte at developer conferences, meetups, podcasts, webinars, and other industry forums.
  • •Identify and pursue speaking, sponsorship, partnership, and community engagement opportunities aligned with Zyte’s goals.
  • •Develop and deliver conference talks, workshops, live demos, webinars, and panel contributions, including Extract Summit.
  • •Create written and multimedia technical resources (tutorials, demos, videos, presentations, code samples) to help developers integrate Zyte API and Scrapy.
  • •Stay engaged with developers through ongoing conversations and guidance, and turn community feedback into improvements with product and technical teams.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in developer advocacy, community engagement, or related technical roles, with a proven established following.
  • •Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, web scraping, and data extraction.
  • •Demonstrable knowledge of Python.
  • •Passion for developers and helping developers, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Proven experience working with communities, social media, and blogging; community building and event hosting is a plus.
