Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz products and cloud infrastructure, identifying attack surfaces and scalable mitigations.
  • •Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to embed end-to-end security into development workflows.
  • •Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
  • •Drive vulnerability management and remediation, prioritizing issues and implementing preventative controls across the software supply chain.
  • •Extend detection and response capabilities by building solutions to identify malicious activity, triage alerts, and remediate incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of security engineering or security operations experience in cloud environments.
  • •Experience with AWS cloud security (or Azure/GCP with some AWS experience).
  • •Hands-on experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
  • •Experience leading threat modeling and security reviews, translating findings into actionable controls.
  • •Practical experience with IaC and tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, Pulumi) and automation development (Python, Go, Shell, HCL, Rego).
