Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, manage, and execute logistics for shipping to and from URS locations.
  • •Generate commercial invoices and packing lists for international exports; manage export/import documentation including ATA Carnets and customs declarations.
  • •Oversee secure transport and storage of sensitive equipment, prototypes, and display assets in compliance with defense sector requirements.
  • •Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics service providers; act as the primary logistics liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Track and analyze logistics costs, anticipate delays from customs/security/geopolitical risks, standardize processes, and develop KPIs for delivery, compliance, and cost performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field (master’s preferred).
  • •7+ years of experience in global logistics or supply chain management, with defense sector exposure strongly preferred.
  • •Experience managing sensitive and oversized shipments via ocean and air freight.
  • •Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, DFARS, and U.S. export/import controls (including export/import controls across global markets).
  • •Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance; ability to travel globally up to 25%.
