Key Responsibilities

•Board and Board Committee management: Secretary to certain Board Committees; support end-to-end management of the Monzo Europe Board, including scheduling, agenda preparation, papers, minutes, registers, and action tracking.
•Board coordination and director support: provide seamless coordination and onboarding support for Board directors.
•Statutory and regulatory compliance: ensure compliance with statutory obligations; assist with CRO filings and regulatory returns.
•Governance processes and procedures: establish and maintain governance policies, processes, and annual governance cycles.
•Governance business partner: collaborate with Deputy CoSec and business counterparts to drive governance initiatives across Monzo Europe.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 66,100 - 80,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Qualified company secretary (ACG or equivalent) with Irish company secretarial experience, ideally in financial services or a regulated environment.
•Demonstrable knowledge of corporate governance principles and an understanding of applicable financial regulations from working in financial services (e.g., CBI Corporate Governance Requirements).
•Self-starter with experience completing core corporate secretarial tasks, including statutory compliance, board coordination, minute taking, and maintaining governance documentation.
•Ability to think through why tasks need to be done and identify other parts of the business that should be looped in to the process.
•Confident communicator able to engage with senior stakeholders, including Board and Executive Committee, and experience improving governance processes autonomously and collaboratively.
