Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide structural design and technical support including concrete, structural steel, and connection design calculations, design drawing review, and field investigations.
  • •Develop specifications, contract documents, and proposals for industrial buildings, facilities, and services.
  • •Review and manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • •Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of an engineering/design team.
  • •Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical expertise; review project documents for technical accuracy and coordinate with project managers and other discipline leads.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in structural design.
  • •Registered in Canada or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Saskatchewan.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of structural designs plus industry codes, standards, and construction methods.
  • •Material design experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and/or wood.
  • •Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required.
