Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform CNC machining tasks associated with defence requirements.
  • •Machine CNC components with flexibility across multiple CNC machine types.
  • •Ensure engineering documentation and defect reporting are completed for traceability.
  • •Liaise with Quality to ensure compliance with project quality requirements and follow BAE Systems SHE procedures.
  • •Validate parts as manufactured and provide input/recommendations to improve company processes and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical trade certificate.
  • •Experience with CNC machining across multiple CNC machine types.
  • •Manual machining and fitting experience.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain defence security clearance of “Baseline” and be cleared for ITAR.
  • •Availability to work scheduled shifts including day shift (7.00am–3.30pm), afternoon/evening shift (3.00pm–12.00am), and night shift (12.00pm–8.00am Sunday–Thursday).
