Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and maintain the 3-year roadmap for foundational manufacturing processes (miniaturization, water-tightness, and high-density electronics).
  • •Establish and standardize core “golden process” modules to propagate improvements across NPIs and product lines.
  • •Identify, develop, and protect proprietary manufacturing methods to strengthen competitive advantage in form factor and reliability.
  • •Drive advanced epoxy molding/water-tightness and next-generation ultra-miniaturized SMT strategy, including component size roadmap and robust coating/underfill solutions.
  • •Set global equipment and tooling standards, qualify CM sites for selected proprietary processes, and deploy core experts during critical EVT/DVT/PVT phases.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 226,100 - 266,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years in high-volume consumer electronics, wearables, medical devices, or semiconductors with hands-on experience solving molding or SMT yield/failures on the factory floor.
  • •Proven leadership leading multi-disciplinary teams across SMT, molding/encapsulation, coatings, optics, and automation.
  • •Master’s or PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent deep practical expertise).
  • •Ability to balance urgent build demands with long-term process standardization, reuse, and platform growth.
  • •Experience influencing vendors and contract manufacturers to adopt and scale proprietary manufacturing recipes.
