Lead the scientific partner-validation loop for PFAS-lean or PFAS-free semiconductor materials. Run and evaluate a generative chemistry discovery workflow, rank candidate molecules for fit, and apply semiconductor domain judgment to ensure outputs are directionally and qualitatively correct. Translate partner experimental feedback into concrete improvement points and align targets across internal dataset, computational chemistry, machine learning, and generative-modeling teams to deliver qualified candidates.

Job Summary

Lead the scientific partner-validation loop for PFAS-lean or PFAS-free semiconductor materials. Run and evaluate a generative chemistry discovery workflow, rank candidate molecules for fit, and apply semiconductor domain judgment to ensure outputs are directionally and qualitatively correct. Translate partner experimental feedback into concrete improvement points and align targets across internal dataset, computational chemistry, machine learning, and generative-modeling teams to deliver qualified candidates.
Location: United States
Workplace: Remote
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Data Science & Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the partner-facing validation loop, translating co-development partner problem definitions into target specifications, constraints, and qualification criteria.
  • •Operate the generative chemistry discovery workflow for PFAS-substitution use cases, assess predicted compounds for plausibility/fit, and rank candidates into decision-ready shortlists.
  • •Apply semiconductor domain judgment to validate whether generative/simulation outputs are directionally and qualitatively correct and confirm lead molecules against process reality.
  • •Close the experimental feedback loop by translating partner experimental results into actionable technical improvement points and driving incorporation through successive design cycles.
  • •Align targets across internal teams to keep property targets, screening oracles, and reward objectives aligned with partner-defined qualification criteria.
