Job Summary

Lead stakeholder engagement and communications for major infrastructure and development projects across Ireland. Develop communications strategies, project narratives, key messages, and collateral for diverse audiences, manage communications channels, and design stakeholder engagement plans. Support consultation delivery through surveys and feedback analysis, plan physical and virtual events, liaise with internal/external clients, and contribute to business development via opportunities, proposals, and tender responses. Manage projects, teams, budgets, and junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop communications strategies and delivery plans, including project narratives, key messages, and collateral for multiple audiences, and manage communications channels.
•Identify and map key stakeholders and establish engagement strategy and delivery plans for client projects.
•Support consultation delivery by developing surveys, managing feedback channels, analyzing consultation responses, and planning tailored events (physical and virtual).
•Liaise with internal and external clients to ensure high-quality customer service and accurate, timely reporting.
•Drive business development by identifying opportunities, pitching to potential clients, building connections within AECOM, and preparing proposals and tender responses, while managing projects/teams/budgets and line-managing junior colleagues.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience delivering communications, engagement, and consultation on projects of different sizes, ideally including major infrastructure schemes.
•Demonstrated track record in business development, including spotting opportunities, nurturing relationships, and turning them into viable ventures.
•Experience managing teams of different sizes and complexity, including supporting junior colleagues’ career development.
•Strong experience across relevant industry sectors (e.g., infrastructure, energy, water, transport, residential and commercial development) and confidence engaging a variety of audiences.
•A degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent number of years of successful, relevant experience).
