Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain core features of autonomy development tools, focusing on multi-agent mission planning, coordination, and training workflows.
  • •Validate tools in practice by building reference multi-agent UAV autonomy, exercising full workflows from simulation to deployment, and turning failures into product requirements.
  • •Define how simulation is used across the development cycle, including fidelity, tuning/validation workflows, and closing the gap between simulated and real flight behavior.
  • •Collaborate with U.S. product and engineering teams to deliver features on shared roadmaps as the Korea-based extension of global product teams.
  • •Contribute to system-level design and architecture for scalability, reliability, and performance, and run deep dives with Korean defense customers to translate operational requirements into product specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of professional engineering experience, or equivalent research experience, in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
  • •Hands-on experience in unmanned aerial systems development (building and flying real UAS) OR multi-agent optimization and control (algorithms coordinating multiple agents, including ML methods such as reinforcement learning).
  • •Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
  • •Excellent English communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions directly with customers to draw requirements and explain design trade-offs.
