Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the dentist in delivering quality dental services according to clinical standards and relevant legislation.
  • •Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety in accordance with policies and legislation.
  • •Create a conducive environment to facilitate positive patient experiences as guided by hospital leadership.
  • •Provide accurate, comprehensive records of all dental interventions per company standards and legal requirements.
  • •Efficiently utilise required stock and equipment according to Mediclinic guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Assist the dentist in delivering quality dental services in line with clinical standards and relevant legislation.
  • •Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks according to policies and legislation.
  • •Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of all dental interventions in line with company standards and legal requirements.
  • •Have essential dental education qualifications (DDS, DMD, BDS, or diploma in Dental Assistant/Dental Nursing, or Registered/Assistant Nurse meeting licensure criteria).
  • •At least two years’ experience as a qualified Dental Assistant (desired: dental assistant experience in the UAE).
