Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and advance regulatory strategy in the US and across the Americas, including maintaining relationships with regulators.
  • •Engage directly with regulators and business counterparties and provide day-to-day counsel to senior business leadership.
  • •Identify growth opportunities and strategic initiatives based on timely, actionable analysis of US regulatory developments.
  • •Lead and manage attorneys covering Americas regions to coordinate legal efforts and achieve successful outcomes.
  • •Manage legal requests and advise on legal risk while supporting the strategic goals of regional business leaders.

Key Requirements

  • •Membership with a US state bar or equivalent.
  • •12+ years of regulatory experience covering financial services laws and regulations in a highly-regulated environment.
  • •Experience making strategic recommendations to senior management and senior legal team members.
  • •Supervisory experience, including managing other attorneys.
  • •Experience advising on cross-jurisdictional legal and regulatory matters, comfortable navigating legal ambiguity.
