Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and review scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for geochemistry, mine water quality, and environmental assessment tasks.
  • •Support mine water quality prediction studies, including geochemical interpretation and water quality modelling.
  • •Develop and review assessment approaches for mining projects, including model development, calibration, validation, and sensitivity assessment.
  • •Prepare and review technical reports, regulatory submissions, presentations, and other project deliverables.
  • •Manage, analyze, and interpret measured and modelled water quality and geochemical/environmental monitoring data, including quality control and technical review.

Key Requirements

  • •4-8 years of relevant experience in mining, consulting, environmental assessment, or mine water quality projects.
  • •Proven experience with water quality modelling and interpretation in a mining/hydrogeochemistry/environmental geochemistry context.
  • •Strong understanding of mine water quality prediction, geochemical assessment, hydrogeochemical processes, and mining-related environmental practices.
  • •Experience supporting environmental assessment, permitting, approvals, or regulatory submissions for mining or industrial projects.
  • •A university bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geochemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, Water Resources, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
