Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose issues with fractional horsepower gasoline engines powering lawn mowers, garden tractors, and similar machines, and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • •Locate causes of trouble, dismantle and inspect parts for defects, then clean, adjust, replace, or repair as needed and authorized.
  • •Communicate daily with the Parts Customer Service Representative and/or Sales Center Manager regarding diagnosis, recommended actions, and repair status.
  • •Treat company-issued tools and customer equipment with utmost care.
  • •Observe safety and security procedures according to OSHA.

Key Requirements

  • •Successful completion of mechanic technical/trade school or 1 year of mechanic experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • •Own a set of basic tools for general repair of engines and/or power equipment.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot problems with persistence and critical thinking to identify solutions.
  • •Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
