Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and proactively reach customers via CAMP and approved marketing tools. Cross-sell to existing customers, support outside sales/community events, and partner with business teams to refer and deliver holistic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions aligned with the bank’s value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Focus on cross-selling and participate in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Process teller transactions and work as a member of the platform staff while following policies and procedures and maintaining confidentiality.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Preferred experience in the financial industry.
•Demonstrated comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to understand advanced math functions for analyzing credit and financial information.
•Must complete S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
