Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare designs and deliverables for secondary electrical systems for transmission and distribution projects.
  • •Design protection and control systems (relay settings, protection schemes, and interlock systems) and related documentation (SLDs, protection logic diagrams, metering layouts, cable termination diagrams).
  • •Perform relay coordination studies and power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, transient stability, motor starting, and arc flash studies.
  • •Develop control and relay panel layouts and SCADA communication schemes with integration between protection/control and field devices.
  • •Review and verify design documentation for compliance with IEC/IEEE and utility specifications, and support commissioning/testing including FAT and site integration.

Key Requirements

  • •Master of Engineering (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) license (or equivalent) from a global organization (e.g., Institution of Electrical Engineers, UK).
  • •HV plant design experience for large EHV grid substations is mandatory.
  • •Very good English oral and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • •Overall 10+ years of work experience is preferred.
