Job Summary

Transport ready-mix concrete to construction projects and customers by safely operating ready-mix concrete trucks. Maintain personal safety and the highest standards of safety and quality, follow dispatch instructions, and communicate with dispatchers while checking delivery tickets. Keep accurate operator logs and records per company policy and DOT regulations, complete reports for issues/repairs, and support customer interactions related to product and concrete instructions.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure personal safety and maintain the highest safety and quality standards in all aspects of the job.
•Operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites as specified, following dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
•Maintain communication with the dispatcher regarding deliveries and check delivery tickets for special instructions.
•Monitor vehicle gauges, maintain operator logs/forms/records in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations, and complete written reports for problems or repairs.
•Maintain equipment condition (clean mixer truck, safe handling/loading) and respond to customer questions/complaints related to basic product knowledge and concrete instruction.

Key Requirements

•Possess a valid commercial driver’s license (Class B or better).
•Maintain a current DOT physical card.
•Submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.

•High school diploma or GED equivalent; previous ready-mix concrete experience preferred.
