Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop a deep understanding of Observability Data Platform customers and their infrastructure challenges, deployment topologies, and cost-to-serve trade-offs
  • •Define product direction across ODP surfaces (control plane and data layer) by articulating problem statements and desired outcomes, partnering with engineering on approach and sequencing
  • •Lead conversations with design partners and strategic customers, validate assumptions, and guide solutions from early prototypes through General Availability
  • •Use unit economics to inform pricing and packaging discussions in partnership with Engineering and the Director of Pricing
  • •Drive cross-product alignment, support executive-level customer engagements, and measure adoption to iterate rapidly

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally on a developer-focused SaaS platform, infrastructure, or data product
  • •Strong cross-organization influence across engineering, product, commercial, and pricing teams to drive decisions
  • •Experience with distributed data infrastructure concepts and the ability to engage on technical trade-offs, scalability constraints, and platform architecture
  • •Ability to distill complex architecture and cost-to-serve trade-offs into clear, actionable context for engineers, leadership, and customers
